All file processing on PDFCrush happens entirely in your browser. When you upload a PDF or document to any of our tools, the file is processed locally using JavaScript — it is never transmitted to our servers. We do not receive, store, or have access to any files you use with our tools.

This means your documents, images, and any content within them remain completely private on your device at all times.

Because all file processing happens locally, we collect very little data:

• Anonymous usage data: We collect aggregated, non-identifiable data such as pages visited, tools used, browser type, device type, and country-level geographic region. This data cannot be linked to individual users and is used solely to improve the service.

• Contact information: If you contact us via our contact form or email, we collect your name, email address, and message content in order to respond to you. This data is not shared with third parties.

• Cloud infrastructure: Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare serves the site's static files and does not receive your document data.

• Advertising: Non-intrusive ad networks may be used to support the free service. We select partners that respect user privacy.

We do not use Stripe or any payment processor — PDFCrush is entirely free with no purchases or subscriptions.

Since we collect minimal personal data and no file content, most GDPR and CCPA rights apply in a limited way. Specifically:

• We do not store your files — so there is nothing to delete, access, or export from our servers.

• For contact form data: you may request deletion of any email correspondence via our contact form at pdfcrush.com/contact-us.

• You may opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser with tracking protection enabled.

We will respond to any privacy requests within 30 days.

Our services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information via our contact form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our website is served over HTTPS with SSL/TLS encryption. Since files never leave your device, there is no risk of file interception or server-side data breach affecting your documents.
